As the COVID-19 crisis continues to impact our community, we’d like to assure you that the health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority, and we want to answer some questions you may have:
Is O’Brien Service Company an “Essential Business”?
Yes. Heating and cooling companies are considered essential, and as such we will remain open to serve you.
What Precautions is O’Brien Service Company Taking?
In the Office:
We have added sanitizing stations and disinfectant soaps. Cleaning checklists are executed every two hours. All employees have been instructed to stay home if feeling ill or if they’ve been in contact with someone who is ill.
O’Brien Service Company’s office hours remain the same, 8am to 5:30pm. We are however limiting our office to employees only. We are also restricting our field personnel from entering the office area. If you need to visit our office for any reason, please call (910) 799-6611 and ask for our Office Manager Steele. He will arrange a curbside visit. We ask if you have an ice cream sandwich card that you wait to collect those until further notice. We will extend the expiration date of those cards! We appreciate your understanding and remember you can always contact us via phone for any questions or concerns.
In the Field:
Our field technicians will greet you with a wave instead of a handshake. They are washing and sanitizing both their hands and tools regularly. Technicians must stay home if they are feeling ill and remain home until approved to return to work. If you would like the technician to wear a face mask during your service just simply ask!
What Should I do as a Customer?
Partner with us in protecting our community. Please notify us when scheduling if anyone in your home has shown symptoms of the virus. Regardless of the presence of symptoms, please practice physical distancing when technicians are at your home.
