Duke Energy Progress Rebates

O'Brien offers Duke Energy Progress rebates on HVAC replacements and new system installations.  You do not need to contact them to receive these rebates.  When we visit your home for your complimentary in-home evaluation our comfort specialists can explain which rebates you’ll be eligible for.

-Receive up to $600 for each HVAC replacement on qualifying equipment per system.

Federal Tax Credit

For geothermal heating and cooling systems, you can receive 26% of the cost of the system back for the tax year of 2020. The federal tax credit of 26% has been extended through the end of 2022. In 2023, it will be reduced to 22%.  Call our office for more information.

Piedmont Natural Gas

Residential customers in North Carolina who replace existing natural gas equipment with qualifying high-efficiency natural gas equipment are eligible for up to a $175 rebate and may qualify for federal tax credits as well.
