Spring is here in Wilmington, NC. With the cooler weather turning warm, consumers will be switching their heating and cooling systems to AC mode. This seasonal change is the perfect time to have your system inspected. That brings up the question, should you pick our seasonal service or annual maintenance option? We cover all of the bases when it comes to your HVAC system but which is best for you?
Annual Maintenance
It’s important to have your system inspected just as it is important to have your vehicle serviced. Our annual maintenance or the Energy Savings Club is a service we provide that puts your schedule, budget, and comfort first. You don’t have to worry about scheduling this appointment because we will do it for you!
One of our highly trained service techs will come out to your home and check all components of your system. That includes checking the amp draw, indoor blower, heat strips, float switch, and every other component that makes your system heat and cool. By having both cooling and heating sides annually inspected, you’ll extend the lifespan of your system, prevent major emergencies, and save money on repairs.
When you sign-up for the Energy Savings Club, you become a priority member. Priority members receive priority scheduling. This means you are guaranteed service within 48 hours of calling in. You’ll receive up to 20% on service repairs. The diagnostic fee is discounted by $35 and remains the same price for our office hours and after-hours service. What will you do with the $35 you save? If you have any questions concerning the ESC membership, call our office at 910-799-6611 and select option 1 for service.
Seasonal Service
With the seasonal service, the same highly trained techs are on the ball. The difference with seasonal service is the tech will only check one side of the system. For example, during the warmer months, they will check the cooling side and during the cooler months, they will check the heating side.
With this in mind, seasonal service is still preventative maintenance, however, it excludes the benefits that come with our Energy Savings Club.
The benefit of working with O’Brien Service Company is you are guaranteed the best service and quality care. We take pride in offering continued-education courses for our techs so they are able to provide the correct diagnostic and recommendation the first time.
