How Does A Geothermal System Work?

In the winter, the system pulls the heat from the earth and distributes the warm air through your home.

And when it’s hot outside?
In the summer, it reverses, pulling the warm air out of your home and distributing it back into the earth.  It works similar to a heat pump; however, it is more energy-efficient.  This is due to a geothermal system using the earth’s natural energy and not relying as much on electricity.
