Angie’s List Super Service Award 2014
We have done it again! O’Brien Service Company is glad to accept the Angie’s List Super Service Award 2014. We love receiving this award year after year, because customer service is such a key factor to our company. Since 2010, we have continuously received this award. Here are some facts that you might have not known about the Super Service Award, and O’Brien Service Company.
Did you know what the guidelines were for the Angie’s List Super Service Award 2014? Well here are the main guidelines that Angie’s List uses:
- Only top 5% of qualifying businesses per category, in each market, receive the award.
- Maintain an “A” Rating in each of the following areas:
- Overall Grade, which averages all reviews received (3.5 GPA)
- Recent Grade, which averages reviews from the last three years (3.5 GPA)
- Review Period Grade, which averages reviews received since the previous November 1st to October 31st (GPA varies)
Since all the grades are decided by our customers, this award is from all of them. So we’d like to take a moment and thank each and every customer for all the kind words, and awesome reviews left in 2014. If you’re curious about what our grades are on Angie’s List, we can tell you that information.
In the Heating & A/C category on Angie’s List, our current grade is an A! Not only are we super excited about that grade, but take a look at these detailed numbers. Out of 172 reviews, 159 of them are A’s, which is 93%! Following the A’s, we have 9 B’s, which account for about 5% of our reviews. Out of 172 reviews, only 4 have not been A’s or B’s. We followed up with all four of those customers to resolve any issues.

“In our two-year old home, O’Brien replaced our problematic and poorly performing two-year old high-efficiency Carrier heat pump, air handler, Carrier Infinity Air Purifier (which never worked), three-zone system with a higher efficiency Trane system with intelligent controls and corrected a very poorly designed and very poorly installed duct system, which resolved air flow / home comfort problems. The O’Brien team, comprised of knowledgeable, responsive management and skilled technicians, showed up on time, worked very hard for three full days, and delivered everything they promised.
