Air Conditioner Repair
Everyone in the Wilmington NC area knows we’ve experienced a very hot June. If that is a preview of what is to come this summer, let’s just say it’s going to be a hot one! Many of our customers were calling needing an air conditioner repair. While we try to get to every customer as fast as we can, there are only so many hours in a day. Here are some tips on how to get quick service for an air conditioner repair. Also, what to check for when you think you need an air conditioner repair. Finally, when to call for an air conditioner repair.
How to Get Quick Service
Like mentioned earlier, we are trying our best to get to every service call as quick as possible. However with the extreme heat we can’t get to everyone at once. The best way to have one of our service technicians to your home to fix an air conditioner repair is to be one of our contract customers. Meaning you are a member of our Energy Savings Club. You’ll get priority appointments when your air conditioning system is not running properly. By being a member you are guaranteed service within 24-48 hours. Additionally, there are no overtime fees if you need service over the weekend. We tell our customers as soon as you notice you may need an air conditioner repair to give us a call. That way the problem doesn’t become worse and more costly. If you are interested in joining or have more questions contact our office.
Before you Call
There are a few things that you can check before you call for an air conditioner repair. Did your breaker trip? Have you changed your filters recently? Is your thermostat set correctly? To view more items to check you can review this article. Also keep in mind that when it is 92⁰+ degrees outside, your system may not be able to maintain an indoor temperature below 75⁰. It is not uncommon for your system to run continuously when the outdoor temperatures are extreme. Your system is just trying to keep up. If your indoor temperature is just a few degrees off from the set point, it is most likely doing all it can.
When To Call
If your indoor temperature drops as the outside temperature does at night you most likely do not need an air conditioner repair. Though if you hear any noises, have no airflow, or the indoor temperature keeps rising over night, it may be in your best interest to have a technician take a look at your system.
Remember don’t wait to call for an air conditioner repair. During extremely hot weeks you may have to wait to have a service technician out. Meaning the longer you wait to call the longer until he can get to you. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our office at (910) 799-6611.
