We know the Wilmington and the surrounding area had a rough year.  From the snow in January to start the year, to a rainy July. And of course, recently hurricane Florence.  We did the best we could to tough through everything that was thrown at us.  However, we couldn’t have done it without the community’s support.  So first we just want to thank you.  This article summarizes O’Brien’s year.  Enjoy the 2018 wrap up!

Giving Back to the Community

We try and do as much as we can to give back.  This past year some of the bigger highlights we supported are listed below.

  • St. Jude Radiothon.
  • Make-A-Wish Eastern NC raised over $10,000
  • The Buddy Walk benefiting coastal buds.
  • Patrick’s Day Parade Sponsor 2018.
  • Presenting sponsor at NHRMC Caring for Kids Radiothon.
  • First Responder Giveaways with Z107.5.
  • Local sports teams’ and organizations sponsors.
  • Our most recent promotion was donating and installing a new system for a local family in need.

As our business grows, so does the opportunity to work with different organizations.

And the Award Goes to…

Every time we are presented with an award, we feel so blessed!  This year locally we won Best of the Best Heating and Air Company from StarNews.  Additionally, Best Heating and Air Company from WWAY.  Trane presented us with a top ten dealer award in the region.  Finally, Angie’s List notified us we won the 2018 Super Service Award.

Our Growth

2018 was a busy year for O’Brien Service Company.  We now have over 56 employees!  Have 36 vehicles in our fleet.  Our service techs went to over 10,000 service calls.  In addition, our installers installed over 1,000 new systems!
