2015 Caring for Kids Radiothon
Year after year Sunny 104.5 has raised money during their annual Caring for Kids Radiothon to purchase much needed equipment for the Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Center at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. While O’Brien Service Company has continued to be a part of the cause, this year we wanted to do more! This year we are thrilled to be one of the sponsors for the 2015 Caring for Kids Radiothon! Below are more details about the Radiothon. How to Donate?
This is the 7th year that Sunny 104.5 is supporting the Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Center to purchase equipment needed in the facility. Last year they raised over $50,000 to purchase a transport ventilator for the children. The 2015 Caring for Kids Radiothon will be held on September 23rd & 24th. During this time you can call in and make a donation. Or, stop by the lobby of the Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital where the Radiothon will be held live. There will be many giveaways for those that donate. Also, throughout these two days you’ll hear many stories of people who had life changing experiences at the NHRMC.
How O’Brien Is Helping
O’Brien Service Company, being a locally owned business, knows the importance of giving back to the community. Many of our employees’ children were born in this hospital. Or has used the facility for other reasons. Therefore, it is someplace close to our hearts. This year we are introducing the O’Brien’s Cool Kids Sponsor! How we are helping to give back is for every call we go on from August 20th through September 20th we will be making a donation to the 2015 Caring for Kids Radiothon. So whether it is for a repair, a maintenance inspection, or having a new HVAC system installed we’ll be making a contribution. At the end of the month’s’ time, we’ll present the check at the 2015 Caring for Kids Radiothon on either September 23rd or 24th.
If you don’t need any heating or air services during this time, please take the time to make a donation during the 2015 Radiothon. You can do this by listening to Sunny 104.5 on September 23rd or 24th and calling in a donation. Or by submitting one on the NHRMC website. The Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital is an important part of our region, and it’s essential for us as a community to help support it!
